KLAMATH FALLS, Ore. (AP) - An Oregon 19-year-old will be sentenced to at least 25 years in prison in connection to two fatal shootings.

The Herald and News reports (https://bit.ly/2soMKfn ) Seth James Cunningham took a plea deal on Thursday for the shooting deaths of 21-year-old Aaron Dillon Andrews and 39-year-old Tyler Devore Nelson.

Cunningham did not admit guilt in Nelson’s death, but admitted prosecutors have enough evidence to convict him.

Cunningham was arrested in December 2015 in connection to the fatal shooting of Andrews. While in custody, Cunningham was charged with the murder of Nelson, who was found shot to death in November 2014.

Cunningham is scheduled for sentencing on Friday. He faces between 25 years and life behind bars.

Prosecutors say they will seek sentence enhancement factors including “lack of remorse,” ”use of a weapon” and “incarceration necessary for public safety.”
