PHILADELPHIA (AP) - Two people found fatally shot inside a parked car in Philadelphia might have been slain days before.

Homicide Capt. James Clark says the victims found slain about 4:45 p.m. Sunday in the city’s East Mount Airy section could have been killed as early as Thursday night.

Police have not released their names, but say the victims were a 21-year-old woman and a man who was either 23 or 24. Police say the man was in the driver’s seat and the woman in the front passenger seat.

Whoever shot them was likely sitting in the back seat, based on unspecified evidence found at the scene.

Police have not recovered the gun.
