CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - Authorities say a disabled coal miner died in a fire over the weekend that’s being investigated as arson in southern West Virginia.

WCHS-TV (https://bit.ly/2swFqLf ) reports the West Virginia State Fire Marshal’s Office says investigators believe the fire in Jesse was intentionally started and have begun an investigation.

The station reports that investigators have asked for the public’s help and a $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest.

Wyoming County deputies say 56-year-old Terry Dancey, a disabled miner, was killed in the fire that broke out about 5 a.m. Sunday.

A neighbor noticed Dancey’s mobile home was burning.
