PITTSBURGH (AP) - The Allegheny County medical examiner has identified one of two people killed in a three-story row house fire.

The victim identified early Monday was 60-year-old Lonnie Davis.

The Pittsburgh man and another person died when the fire broke out in the city’s Hill District shortly after 3 a.m. Sunday. One of the victims reportedly jumped to his death, though the medical examiner did not immediately say whether that was Davis. The other victim was found dead inside.

Arriving police officers reported people trapped on the upper floors.

Another man was taken to UPMC Mercy in critical condition and a woman to UPMC Presbyterian in stable condition. A firefighter who fell through the roof was treated for minor injuries.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
