TULSA, Okla. (AP) - A 61-year-old motorcyclist has died following a one-vehicle accident in northeastern Oklahoma.

Police say Harvey Altemose of Tulsa was killed in Saturday’s collision on the Broken Arrow Expressway.

The accident occurred at 8:18 p.m. in the expressway’s westbound lanes. Police say Altemose was riding a 2012 Harley Davidson that struck a guardrail.

Police found Altemose’s body lying in the roadway and the motorcycle nearby. Investigators say Altemose apparently hit the guardrail and was ejected from the motorcycle.

No witnesses have come forward to describe what happened.
