LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Police say a man took $13 in a gas station robbery on the south side of Little Rock but slipped in the parking lot and left behind what appeared to be a diamond-studded golden earring that could be worth much more, or a lot less.

A clerk told police the man entered the station Saturday night as she was giving $13 in change to a customer. The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette said (https://bit.ly/2swDBhc ) a police report noted that, after the clerk refused to give the man money, he grabbed the $13 and knocked over store displays.

Officers said he fell in the parking lot and dropped the earring and a $1 bill. He fled in a gray car.

No value was listed for the earring. It could be valuable or a fake.
