FAYETTEVILLE, W.Va. (AP) - Authorities in West Virginia say seven people face charges and six are still wanted in connection with alleged drug offenses.

WSAZ-TV reports (https://bit.ly/2sLZQiL ) Fayette County Sheriff Mike Fridley says investigators obtained warrants for 13 people and a news release says since June 1 officers from the Sheriff’s Office, Central West Virginia Drug Task Force and Oak Hill police have worked to arrest the group.

Those arrested face a total of more than 15 charges and among the counts included are delivery and manufacture of controlled substances. Nearly $100,000 of bonds have been set, and one for $25,000 allowed a Fayetteville resident to be released. One Smithers resident of the group remains incarcerated in the Southern Regional Jail on previous charges.

It is unclear if any of those arrested have lawyers.
