BOONEVILLE, Miss. (AP) - Authorities say all three men accused of escaping from a northern Mississippi jail have now been recaptured.

The Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal reports (https://bit.ly/2qSO858 ) that 40-year-old John Michael Brown was arrested without incident Monday afternoon northeast of Corinth, Mississippi, near the Tennessee line.

Sheriff’s officials say he and two other inmates escaped from the Prentiss County Jail early Thursday morning.

Prentiss County Sheriff Randy Tolar said one of them was captured within hours of the escape near Cherokee, Alabama. Authorities say another was apprehended early Saturday morning by sheriff’s deputies from Colbert County, Alabama.

The men now face the additional charges of jail escape, felony malicious mischief and two counts each of felony taking of a motor vehicle.
