LOS ANGELES (AP) - More than 100 Los Angeles high school students may have to retake their college admission tests after their answer sheets were lost in the mail.

Ed Colby of ACT, Inc., which provides the tests, says a package containing answer sheets from the April 8 test hasn’t arrived. The sheets were from about 125 students at University High School.

Colby says ACT is working with the test center supervisor and FedEx to locate the package. He says sometimes a package will become “temporarily lost” in transit but most eventually are found.

Meanwhile, Colby says if the answers aren’t found, students can take the test again as early as Saturday at no charge, and their April registration fees will be refunded.
