TORRINGTON, Conn. (AP) - Police in Connecticut are investigating the death of a 1-year-old boy.
Officers were called to a home in Torrington just before 11 a.m. Tuesday after the child’s mother reported that her son was unresponsive.
Police say initial reports said the child was found unresponsive in a bathtub. The child was being cared for by another adult and the mother called 911 after returning home.
Police say the boy was taken to an area hospital where he later died.
An autopsy is planned for Wednesday.
