RAPID CITY, S.D. (AP) - Authorities have released the name of a Rapid City man who was found slain in his home.

Rapid City Police and the Pennington County Sheriff’s Office on Wednesday identified the victim as 64-year-old Larry Mintzlaff. An autopsy determined he died of blunt force trauma.

Authorities believe Mintzlaff died late last week. Officers were called to his home to do a welfare check Tuesday and found him dead inside the home.
