MORRISTOWN, N.J. (AP) - A woman charged in a racketeering bust of reputed mob members last year has had her charges dismissed.

Lisa Trainor was charged with two tax-related offenses in April 2016. But state Superior Court Judge Paul Armstrong on Tuesday approved the state’s request to drop the charges.

More than a dozen people were arrested last year in what authorities called “a smorgasbord” of different illegal schemes. Those included illegal gambling, illegal check-cashing, forgery, money laundering and filing false tax returns.

Trainer was charged with filing a fraudulent return and failing to pay income tax.
