CORBIN, Ky. (AP) - Kentucky State Police say a 47-year-old man has been charged in the slayings of two people found dead inside a Whitley County home.
Police said the bodies were found after police were called about a possible shooting around 2:30 a.m. Wednesday in Corbin.
A news release from state police said Paul E. Parsons of Corbin was charged with two counts of murder and one count of first-degree burglary and lodged in the Whitley County jail.
The victims were identified as 47-year-old Denver Nicely of Corbin and 28-year-old Joshua C. Wernicke of Keavy.
The investigation is ongoing. An autopsy was planned.
