BREMERTON, Wash. (AP) - Authorities say a husband shot his estranged wife and then himself at a storage facility in East Bremerton.

The Kitsap Sun reports (https://goo.gl/pSgK9I ) that authorities responded to the facility Thursday morning and found two people with gunshot wounds.

Kitsap County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Scott Wilson says the 40-year-old woman and her stepfather had met her 41-year-old husband at a different location and followed each other to the storage facility where they have household items.

Wilson says when the woman got out of the vehicle, the man shot her with a handgun and then shot himself in the head.

The man was flown to Harborview Medical Center with serious injuries. The woman was taken to a Bremerton hospital with severe but not life-threatening wounds. The stepfather wasn’t injured.
