ANDERSON, S.C. (AP) - Two 18-year-old men have been charged with involuntary manslaughter after authorities say they did not immediately seek medical help after a friend was shot in their car.
Anderson County deputies told media outlets that driver Han’Drikus Webb was being chased by three men in another car who fired several shots early one morning in September.
Authorities say Webb and Markeese Churchwell knew a third person in the car had been shot, but didn’t call or get help.
Anderson County Coroner Greg Shore said 18-year-old Courvocia Hunter was wounded in the leg and bled to death from a damaged main artery.
Churchwell and Webb were released on bond. It wasn’t known if they had lawyers.
The three men in the other car have all been charged with murder.
