CLINTON, Iowa (AP) - Authorities are investigating the deaths of two men found inside an eastern Iowa home that is facing a foreclosure action.

The Division of Criminal Investigation said Friday the men found inside the Clinton home on Monday have been identified as 57-year-old Kevin Lambert and 60-year-old Steven Cox.

The agency says the case is being investigated as a homicide, and that anyone with information should contact the Clinton Police Department.

The investigation started Monday afternoon when police received a report of an “unresponsive person” at the residence on 5th street. They found both bodies inside. Autopsies have since been conducted by the State Medical Examiner.

Court records show that a judge in January granted a foreclosure order for the home in favor of a mortgage company. Lambert was listed as the person currently in possession of the property.
