PHOENIX (AP) - Phoenix police say foul play is not suspected in the death of a man whose body was found by firefighters responding to a reported house fire.

Sgt. Alan Pfohl says the Maricopa County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine what caused the death of 35-year-old Rosolino Marchiafava.

Firefighters went to the north Phoenix home where family members found smoke Friday morning when they went to check on Marchiafava’s welfare.

The Fire Deepartment said firefighters found evidence of a fire but it was out when they arrived.

The home is on the 14000 block of North 45th Avenue.
