RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - Kam Langley had 14 points and 11 assists to help Southwest Guilford beat Raleigh Leesville Road 73-49 in Saturday’s Class 4-A North Carolina High School Athletic Association men’s championship game.

Langley was named the game’s most valuable player to help the Cowboys (28-3) win their second state title. Southwest Guilford dominated the second and third quarters to blow the game open, finishing the game shooting 51 percent and scoring 28 points off turnovers.

Christian Martin added 14 points, while Kobe Langley had eight rebounds to lead a dominating effort on the boards. The Cowboys finished with a 40-25 rebounding advantage that led to a 19-7 edge in second-chance points.

Jalen Benjamin had 18 points to lead the Pride (22-10), who shot just 6 for 20 (30 percent) during the second and third quarters as Southwest Guilford pulled away.
