ATLANTIC, Pa. (AP) - A northwestern Pennsylvania coroner says a woman found dead in a mobile home was strangled, and her death has been ruled a homicide for which a man is facing charges.

State police in Crawford County were called to the Pinedale Mobile Home Park in East Fallowfield Township at about 10:30 a.m. Friday and found the body of 45-year-old Julie Willey.

The Erie Times-News (https://bit.ly/2lQtWmb ) reports that Coroner Scott Schell ruled Saturday following an autopsy in Erie that Willey died from asphyxiation due to strangulation. Police believe she was killed early Friday.

Forty-five-year-old James Lucas, identified by police as the victim’s boyfriend, has been charged with criminal homicide and strangulation.

Court documents don’t list an attorney who could comment on the charges; a listed number for Lucas had been disconnected.
