WESTMINSTER, Vt. (AP) - Renovation work on a Connecticut River bridge linking Westminster, Vermont, and Walpole, New Hampshire, could slow traffic.

The New Hampshire Department of Transportation says work on the bridge on state Route 123 that links U.S. Route 5 in Vermont with state Route 12 in New Hampshire will require single-lane traffic that will be controlled by traffic signals.

The $812,000 renovation project includes removing and reconstructing bridge expansion joints, stripping pavement, and repairs to the bridge’s deck and piers.

Work is set to begin April 1 and be finished by mid-August.
