President Trump on Monday said Republicans will come together and “save the day” amid an “imploding” health care system that’s about to get worse.

“ObamaCare is imploding. It is a disaster and 2017 will be the worst year yet, by far! Republicans will come together and save the day,” the president tweeted.

White House counselor Kellyanne Conway said Monday the president supports the House GOP heath care plan, but he is open to negotiations.

“The president and the vice president have leaned into this legislation,” she said on “Fox & Friends.”

“And the president did what leaders do this week,” Ms. Conway said. He listened, he’s negotiating, but he’s also the ultimate decision-maker and deal-maker.”

House Republicans recently unveiled legislation to roll back unpopular parts of the law, but the GOP is facing some division within its own ranks.

Some Republicans want all of Obamacare repealed immediately, while others have objected to how the new plan handles the expansion of Medicaid rolls under the old law.

“What the president has said is if you have good improvements to the bill, let’s hear them,” Ms. Conway said.
