LA HABRA, Calif. (AP) - Authorities in Orange County have arrested five people and seized heroin and methamphetamine after a theft victim helped police track down his stolen cellphone.

The Orange County Register reports (https://bit.ly/2nlAJ4a) that police had responded Saturday night to a report of a cellphone theft at a shopping center.

Police say the victim was able to track the phone and helped lead police to a home in La Habra, where officers found more than 5 ounces of heroin and 15 grams of meth.

The five men and women who were arrested at the residence face several drug and theft charges.
