RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Officials in Virginia are warning people to be cautious on the roads after a late-season storm dropped a mix of snow, sleet and rain.

The Virginia Department of Emergency Management said the northern and northwestern parts of the state are most impacted by the storm Tuesday, but slick roads and power outages are reported around the state.

The Virginia National Guard says nearly 200 personnel are ready for duty across northern Virginia.

Virginia State Police spokeswoman Corinne Geller says troopers have responded to 150 crashes and disabled vehicles statewide since midnight. She says many of them were in northern Virginia. She says no serious injuries were reported.

Dominion Power is reporting more than 41,000 customers without power around the state, including more than 36,000 in the Richmond area.
