KALISPELL, Mont. (AP) - Authorities say one person was killed and three others were injured in a head-on crash west of Libby.

The Daily Inter Lake reports (https://goo.gl/rwihcX ) Tuesday morning’s crash on U.S. Highway 56 killed a 45-year-old mother and injured her son and his friend. Lincoln County Sheriff Roby Bowe says the 26-year-old driver of the other vehicle, who suffered minor injuries, will be charged with criminal possession of dangerous drugs and either negligent homicide or vehicular homicide while under the influence.

The sheriff says investigators found drugs during a search of the man’s vehicle, but he declined to comment on the type or quantity.

No other information was released.
