PHOENIX (AP) - Phoenix police are investigating the shooting of a man found dead inside an apartment.
Alan Pfohl says the suspect had left the area before police arrived in response to a call about a shooting Wednesday morning.
Pfohl says detectives are conducting interviews to try to piece together what happened, but he says there are early indications that drug activity may be involved.
The shooting occurred in a complex near South 48th Street and East Elliot Road.
The victim’s identity was not released and no additional information was immediately available.
