SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - A suspect in at least two sexual assaults in Palo Alto has surrendered to police after seeing a surveillance photo of himself had been released to the public.
The San Francisco Chronicle reports (https://bit.ly/2m0GmrJ ) that the 26-year-old from South San Francisco turned himself in on Friday and was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail on suspicion of felony sexual assault.
The suspect is accused of assaulting a woman while she waited at a bus kiosk on Mach 1. In another incident, a woman got off a bus and was walking away when she noticed a man following her. The man is accused of running up and grabbing her. Both victims fought off their attacker.
The suspect turned himself in after seeing his photo on news and social media sites.
