VICTORVILLE, Calif. (AP) - Homicide detectives are investigating after a woman was found dead at a San Bernardino County park.
Sheriff’s spokeswoman Cindy Bachman says the body was found late Wednesday at Hook Park in Victorville. She didn’t provide additional details.
The Daily Press reports (https://bit.ly/2mMzFXb ) witnesses claimed to see a man run over and beat a woman near a parking lot at the park’s southwest corner.
No information about the victim or a possible suspect was immediately released.
A section of the park was closed during the investigation.
