POULTNEY, Vt. (AP) - Police say they found the body of a missing woman at a man’s home in Poultney and say her death is possibly related to a drug overdose.

Police say detectives found the body of 26-year-old Alexandra Rooker, of Fair Haven, at the home of 53-year-old Wayne Oddo on Wednesday. Authorities say both Oddo and Rooker were heroin users. Police say preliminary results of an autopsy showed no sign of trauma. The cause, manner and time of death is being investigated.

Rooker was reportedly last seen by friends on March 3, when she was dropped off at Oddo’s residence.

Oddo has been charged with being a user of a controlled substance in possession of a firearm. It was not immediately known if he is being represented by an attorney.
