BLAIRSTOWN, N.J. (AP) - Two New Jersey State Troopers were hurt in a crash on a highway near the Delaware Water Gap.

The New Jersey Department of Transportation says the crash happened around 2:45 p.m. Thursday on Interstate 80, about four miles from the Pennsylvania line. The State Police later tweeted that the troopers’ injuries were non-life threatening.

The crash initially closed three of the interstate’s four westbound lanes approaching the Delaware Water Gap.

Some drivers told Lehigh Valley Live (https://bit.ly/2mfL0Rr ) they were stranded in standstill traffic on the highway for up to two hours.
