NEW YORK (AP) - Authorities in New York City say a woman caused a stir when she walked on train tracks at a subway station.

Police say the woman jumped down from a Brooklyn subway station platform and began to walk on tracks around 9 a.m. Wednesday. The woman casually responded to commuters as they told her to get off of the tracks.

One onlooker recorded a video of the incident.

Police took the woman into custody around 9:10 a.m. Authorities say she was taken to Woodhull Hospital for a psychiatric observation.
