SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - Iranian-American comedian and UC Berkeley alumnus Maz Jobrani will return to his alma mater to deliver the keynote address at this year’s May 13 commencement.

In a statement Monday, the University of California, Berkeley quotes Jobrani as saying his biggest message to graduating seniors will be to find a way to do what you love.

He might also touch on politics.

Jobrani says much of his recent comedy has focused on President Trump’s immigration policies and he is “personally offended” by Trump’s travel ban targeting six Muslim countries including Iran.

He says he’s more political than he ever has been before.

Jobrani came to the U.S. from Iran at age 6, grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area and studied political science at Cal before turning to comedy.
