MANDEVILLE, La. (AP) - A 19-year-old man was fatally shot after authorities say he was arguing with another man about a female.
The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office says in a statement that Vincent Cuccia was shot several times Saturday morning and rushed to a nearby hospital, but died of his injuries.
Deputies arrested 19-year-old Jake Mills on a charge of second-degree murder.
The statement says investigators believe Cuccia and Mills were arguing over a female, and that the argument resulted in Mills shooting Cuccia.
It’s unclear if Mills has an attorney.
