LAFAYETTE, Calif. (AP) - Police say they have arrested a suspect who allegedly kidnapped a man from his home and at gun point forced him to drive to a bank to withdraw money.

San Jose television station KNTV (https://bit.ly/2nzGSwF) reports the victim told bank staff he was being forced to get money by a man who beat him and threatened him with a shotgun the suspect found at his home.

Police say officers responded Tuesday to the bank in Lafayette and found 26-year-old Manuel Bustos waiting for the victim in a car. They arrested him at gunpoint.

Bustos was booked into the Martinez Detention Facility on charges that include kidnapping, robbery, burglary and a stolen automobile.

No other information was immediately available.
