MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - Mobile police say they’ve arrested a man in the death of a woman who was shot to death more than two years ago.

Authorities say Steve Mason is charged in the slaying of 24-year-old Ke’Lei Morris.

Morris was found shot in the head in an apartment complex in February 2015. Mason has told police he knew the woman but denies killing her.

WKRG-TV (https://bit.ly/2nG8KQ1 ) reports that Mason was convicted of murder in the slaying of Mesha Anglin in 2002 and served three years in prison after being granted youthful offender status.

Court records aren’t yet available to show whether Morris has a lawyer.
