FALLON, Nev. (AP) - Police are investigating a stabbing at a Fallon hotel that left one man dead and a woman injured.
The Lahontan Valley News reports (https://bit.ly/2nJCBY1 ) that the stabbing occurred Tuesday night at the Overland Hotel in Pioche. Police say a suspect was detained.
Police will not release the name of the deceased man until his next of kin has been notified, but they believe all three people involved are from Fallon.
Police say the woman, who has also not been identified, was taken to a Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno following the incident and that her injuries are non-life-threatening.
