Authorities investigate after body is found in Hattiesburg

HATTIESBURG, Miss. (AP) - Authorities in Hattiesburg say a woman has been found dead inside a residence, and they’re trying to determine the cause of her death.

The Hattiesburg American reports (https://hatne.ws/2naJHS2 ) that the woman was found deceased in a home on North 19th Avenue.

Forrest County Deputy Coroner Lisa Klem said she couldn’t release further details until an autopsy is completed at the State Crime Lab in Jackson.
