High school student stabbed with scissors

EAST BRUNSWICK, N.J. (AP) - Officials say a Middlesex County Vo-Tech student was stabbed in the face with scissors during a fight with another girl.

The fight occurred Wednesday at the high school in East Brunswick.

Vocational Technical School District Superintendent Brian Loughlin tells NJ.com (https://bit.ly/2nbSxPK ) the student with the scissors was taken into custody. The injured student was taken to a hospital. The extent of her injuries is not known.

It’s not known if charges were filed.
