ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - Federal authorities say Navajo Nation man has pleaded guilty to firearms and burglary charges after breaking into a police officer’s home in late 2015.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office in New Mexico says 37-year-old Loren Wauneka of Fort Defiance, Arizona, filed the plea on Thursday in Albuquerque.

The office says Wauneka and a woman were arrested in January 2016 after breaking into a law enforcement officer’s home a month earlier on the Navajo reservation and taking a TV, jewelry, bags, laptops and two guns belonging to the officer.

Authorities haven’t set a sentencing date.
