RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - Authorities have finished collecting and documenting evidence from a fire that destroyed an apartment complex that was under construction in Raleigh, but their investigation in the cause of the blaze continues.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives National Response said in a news release Friday that investigators have completed processing the physical scene of the fire at the Metropolitan apartment complex on March 16. The news release says investigators continue to collect and analyze information and evidence obtained outside the site of the fire in order to determine its origin and cause.
No one was killed or seriously injured in the fire, which damaged several other buildings. Residents of other apartment buildings have had to move out because of damage to their units.
