MARTINEZ, Calif. (AP) - Authorities arrested a Northern California man on suspicion of molesting at least three girls between the ages of 14 and 16.
The Contra Costa County sheriff announced Friday that 36-year-old Gary Burbank was arrested in his Discovery Bay home, which is about 60 miles (97 kilometers) east of San Francisco.
He is being held on multiple counts of child molestation, rape and aggravated sexual assault. He is being held on $14.2 million bail.
Investigators say more victims may come forward. They say Burbank met at least one victim online. The sheriff said the investigation began when one of the victims called police.
It’s unclear if Burbank has retained a lawyer.
