COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Authorities say a search for a suspect in a vehicle theft led them to a Colorado Springs home where officers found a body inside.
The Gazette reports (https://bit.ly/2mKJrMJ ) that police responded to the home Monday afternoon after someone told police that they found their stolen car outside the residence and saw a man enter the home.
People inside the home gave officers permission to search for the suspect.
Officers then located an unidentified dead man.
Police say the suspect was also inside the home and had barricaded himself inside a downstairs room before he was eventually arrested.
Details about the man’s death have not been released.
