NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (AP) - Authorities say four people are recovering from stab wounds suffered during a fight inside a western New York bar over the weekend.

Police in the city of Niagara Falls say a woman ran up to officers on patrol around 3 a.m. Sunday and told them there was a fight underway at the Third Street Tap Room.

When officers arrived they found three people in the bar suffering from stab wounds. A fourth person had driven themselves to a local hospital. Police say the victims are two 25-year-old men and two women in their 20s.

All four are expected to recover.

Police charged one of the people involved in the fight, a 35-year-old Niagara Falls man, with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
