ST. LOUIS (AP) - St. Louis police are publicly identifying a 15-year-old boy who was killed during a shooting that wounded six other people.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch (https://bit.ly/2oqW3VG ) reports that Antonio Womack was fatally shot in the head during the gunfire about 6:30 p.m. Friday. Authorities say the survivors ranged in age from 18 to 39, including a boy who was shot in the face, arm and hand.

Police Lt. John Green has said it’s unclear what led to the shooting, noting that witnesses said there was no preceding argument. He says some witnesses weren’t being cooperative.

Green says several people were outside a building sitting or standing on a porch or on the lawn when the gunfire began.

There was no immediate word Saturday on any arrests or charges.
