WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) - Police are continuing to investigate a shooting in downtown Wilmington that left a 30-year-old man dead.
Authorities identified the victim Monday as Richard Crosby of Wilmington.
Police were called to the 700 block of North Tatnall Street just after midnight Saturday and found Crosby lying at a nearby intersection suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the head. He was pronounced dead at Wilmington Hospital.
Wilmington, which has been plagued for years by gun violence, has seen more than 45 shootings this year, resulting in 13 deaths.
