NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. (AP) - Police have arrested a man suspected of shooting two men outside a tavern in New Brunswick.

Authorities on Thursday charged 23-year-old Farrahd Williams of New Brunswick with attempted murder, aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a handgun.

Police say they believe Williams opened fire on 23-year-old Charlton Stevens of Hackensack and 25-year-old Emyle Duverger of Brooklyn, New York, following an argument inside Court Tavern on Saturday.

The men were shot in the legs and their injuries were not life-threatening.

It’s not known if Williams has a lawyer.
