TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (AP) - Tuscaloosa police say they’re still trying to solve the slaying of a teenager who was shot to death in a crowded nightclub more than four years ago.

The Tuscaloosa News (https://bit.ly/2lpUY3D ) reports that investigators believe dozens of people witnessed the shooting death of 18-year-old Labarron Rice at Club Secret on Dec. 20, 2012.

But no one has come forward yet with information leading to an arrest, and authorities are asking for help. Homicide Capt. Gary Hood says investigators believe someone can identify the shooter.

Police believe the slaying was related to a shooting that occurred about two weeks earlier at a gas station. A 26-year-old was injured in that incident.

Shortly after Rice was killed, someone fired more than 20 shots at a house in Tuscaloosa. No one was injured.
