RICHMOND, Va. (AP) - Richmond police say a 47-year-old woman was found slain in a parking lot behind a church.

Police identified the woman on Sunday as Katherine Wigglesworth of Amelia Court House. Her body was found on Saturday evening in the parking lot, which is on Warwick Road on the city’s south side.

Police have not detailed how Wigglesworth was slain. An autopsy will be conducted to determine the cause of death.



Police are asking for the public’s health as they try to identify a suspect.
