PRINCETON, N.C. (AP) - Johnston County sheriff’s deputies have arrested a man and charge him with shooting and killing his father.
Capt. Jeff Caldwell told local media outlets that officers were called to a home between Princeton and Pine Level around 9 p.m. Saturday. They found 68-year-old James Russell Lee dead in his home.
Thirty-seven-year-old Evan Thomas Lee has been charged with murder.
Caldwell says the shooting followed a domestic dispute. But investigators have not said the subject of the dispute.
No other details were available. It was not known if Lee has an attorney.
