RENO, Nev. (AP) - Authorities in Reno have identified the suspect who died in a shootout last week during a traffic stop.

Authorities are still searching for a 17-year-old boy accused of also being involved in the incident that left an officer injured. The officer remains at a hospital.

Authorities have said the incident happened when Reno police tried to conduct a traffic stop Thursday near the Reno-Sparks Convention Center.

Officers shot Navarro-Garcia while he was fleeing from a sport utility vehicle. He was pronounced dead at a hospital.

The incident was the second fatal shooting within a week involving Reno police. A 24-year-old Las Vegas man was shot and killed Feb. 23 at the downtown Eldorado hotel-casino.
