WILMINGTON, N.C. (AP) - A North Carolina mother charged in a drunken driving wreck that killed her child is behind bars again after a judge revoked her bond.

The StarNews of Wilmington reports (https://bit.ly/2n2qhyf) a New Hanover County judge determined that 29-year-old Melissa Ann Henderson violated her bail conditions by traveling to Texas. One condition of her release was that she couldn’t leave North Carolina.

Henderson’s infant son, James Cecil Andrews III, was killed in April in a fiery crash. Passers-by pulled Henderson and her 2-year-old daughter from the car.

Henderson faces several charges, including involuntary manslaughter and felony death by motor vehicle. On Monday, a judge set bond for Henderson at $500,000, double the amount set after she was first arrested.

Public defender Jennifer Harjo declined to comment.
